Looks different but is the same sharpener! The new Blackwing long point sharpener is just a bit samller and has a different rubber-like coating but the blades are the same and still a two step sharpener that now comes in a new grey in color.

The sharpener has two blades - left removes the wood and the right sharpens the graphite giving a long fine point.  Sharpener comes with two extra blades and an automatic brake preventing over-sharpening. The best for long point sharpening needs. If you are looking for a sharpener for your colored pencils - this is not the best!
