Made in Japan, using California Cedar I am sure. When opening the box - the cedar fragrance comes forth! It’s a beautiful little pencil - dark green with lacquer finish- gold foil on one side and silver on the other. It’s a soft B grade and states it is for retouching & special drawing. I think I will use it for every day writing.
